Bay City woman gets second trial in daughter's death
Donna Yost has received a second trial for the death of her 7-year-old daughter after the state appeals court ruled the trial judge excluded too much evidence in Yost's 2006 trial. Yost was originally found guilty of killing her daughter with an overdose of medication.

Rohm & Haas squabble continues for Dow
Tensions continue to mount between The Dow Chemical Co. and Rohm & Haas after the Philadelphia-based specialty chemicals maker announced an 82 percent drop in fourth quarter earnings and continues to call for Dow to "live up to its obligations" by completing a merger that has since been brought to a halt.
